Adopting a nation (People Group) is a commitment to intentionally pray for and support a specific people group and its people. When someone adopts a nation, they take responsibility to regularly intercede for its leaders, communities, churches, and unreached people groups. This focused prayer helps ensure that every nation is covered and remembered before God.
This form helps us organize prayer efforts so that nations are not overlooked or duplicated. It also creates ownership—each person knows the nation they are standing for in prayer. Through this collective effort, we can intentionally seek God’s blessing, peace, and spiritual transformation for every nation represented.
God has called us as ICF Church to pray for the nations. Across Pakistan there are approximately 780 people groups and communities. Our mission is to see every people group adopted in prayer — with believers committed to regularly interceding for their salvation, discipleship, leaders, families, and future generations.
Prayer Adoption Model
Each family, small group, or ministry team:
- Adopts one people group
- Learns about their language, culture, and needs
- Prays weekly for them
- Tracks testimonies and breakthroughs
- Raises awareness in the church

- Dreams, visions, and encounters with Jesus
