Who we are
The ministry gives singers, musicians, worship leaders, and others with creative gifts an opportunity to use their talents in service to God. Whether you are experienced or simply willing to learn, there is a place for you on the team.
Developing leaders
We believe the best worship ministry is one that raises up others. Our team is committed to identifying, equipping, and releasing people into leadership, whether that is leading worship, directing a choir, leading a band, or serving in other areas of church life.
We give each person the support they need to grow and serve: encouragement, practical training, mentoring, and room to try, learn, and even fail safely. We count it a joy to watch people who began as newcomers step into leadership in their own callings and capacities.
Doers of the Word
Worship is more than the songs we sing. The Scripture calls us to be “doers of the word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22), and we take that seriously. We want the character of our team to match the words on our lips, so we seek to live out what we sing through humility, integrity, love for one another, and service to those around us.
Worship beyond Sunday
Worship at ICF is not limited to Sunday mornings. We encourage a lifestyle of worship that continues throughout the week: in our homes, our workplaces, and our relationships. Everyday obedience, gratitude, prayer, and kindness are all worship.
We support this through regular Music Classes on Thursdays, where members and newcomers can develop their vocal and musical skills, learn to play and sing with confidence, and grow in understanding what it means to serve God with excellence and a humble heart.
